Yes For Affordable Housing

Keeping Our Communities Together

This November, voters in the Portland metro area and across Oregon can help keep our communities together by voting YES for Affordable Housing.

Our campaign is supporting two ballot measures that will ensure safe, affordable housing for more working families, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities. By voting YES this fall, as many as 12,000 people in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties will have access to affordable homes.

As rent and home costs skyrocket in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties, families are being forced to move further and further away from their communities, doubling or tripling their work commutes and forcing kids to change schools. Some are facing homelessness for the first time in their lives. Many feel they can no longer live here.

By letting this problem go unchecked, we are pushing out the people who work to make our communities great and functional places to call home — teachers, restaurant servers, first responders, construction workers, and many more.

We must act now, or risk losing what makes our region so special.

We Can Help

This November, we can stand up for our communities by voting YES for two affordable housing ballot measures.

Voters in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties will have the opportunity to pass a regional affordable housing bond that will help an estimated 7,500 people access affordable housing. And across the state, Oregon voters will have a chance to make local affordable housing bond dollars go further—and house even more people in the metro region—by passing a constitutional amendment that allows partnerships with non-profit organizations.

coming together

Local and regional community leaders are coming together like never before to address the rising cost of housing and support these ballot measures.

Our campaign is backed by an unprecedented coalition of local and regional businesses, faith leaders, nonprofit groups, communities of color, and elected leaders who are united by the need to address affordable housing in our communities.
